Community
The
Bristol Apache Adult Team is proud of its local ties and helps out in
the community, running events in local schools whilst also maintaining
strong links with local businesses in conjunction with the Bristol Aztecs Adult and Youth Teams.
The Bristol
Aztecs are running two schools Football schemes. The first is Flag
American Football in schools. Something that girls and boys can take
part in. Very similar to flag rugby where all contact within the sport
is replaced by the ripping of flags from a belt. This means that both
girls and boys can participate at the same time against each other. The
Bristol Aztecs will supply you with a coach and the equipment to run
the class. If you would like more information on this please contact Pete Jones.
The second is
that the Bristol Aztecs are also in the early stages of helping to set
up a Bristol Schools American Football League. This would be for boys
aged 14 - 16 and would be an after school club running from your
school. Equipment and coaches would be supplied by the League. For more
information please contact Coach Ben Herod.
The Bristol
Aztecs Youth Team are always looking to get more involved with events
within the local community to help where ever needed. If you know of
something that we can help with then please do not hesitate to contact
us. We are also happy to get involved with local business to raise
mutual profiles.
